Patriarch John X Holds Reception for Pascha…

 

His Beatitude Patriarch John X held a reception for greeters on the occasion of Pascha at the Patriarchate in Damascus. The event was attended by political and official figures, as well as popular delegations, including:

- The General Secretariat of the Political Council, headed by Mr. Yasser Kahala

- Political and military figures, led by Sheikh Hassan Daghim

- The Ambassador of Greece to Damascus, Mr. Emmanuel Kakavilakis

- The Deputy Governor of Damascus, Mr. Mahmoud Shehab

- The Governor of Rural Damascus, Mr. Amer Sheikh

- The Director of Political Affairs in Damascus, Mr. Alaa Al-Basha

- Mrs. Fayrouz Khalil from the Public Relations Department of the Democratic Society

- The Ismaili National Religious Council in Damascus, chaired by Engineer Ali Kahala, representing Miss Rania Qasem, the religious president of the Ismaili Council in Syria

- Mother Febronia Nabhan, Abbess of the Saidnaya Monastery

- The Ecumenical Relations and Development Management Council, accompanied by Archimandrite Meletios Shatahi

- Caritas Syria, represented by Mr. Riad Sarji

- The Jasmine of the Levant Group, represented by Mr. Firas Nadeem

- Representatives from the Greek community
