Meeting of the Patriarch with the Bishops and…

 

His Beatitude Patriarch John X met with the bishops and clergy of the Archdiocese of Damascus and its surrounding areas at the Patriarchate in Damascus.

The meeting included an overview of the main ecclesiastical and pastoral challenges that concern the Archdiocese of Damascus and its countryside amid the current circumstances affecting the Church in general and the region in particular. Emphasis was placed on diligence in pastoral service in all its forms, as well as on unity and mutual support to preserve the Church’s witness and cohesion.
