His Beatitude John X, Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, received Sheikh Ali Qaddour, Head of the Alawite Islamic Council in Lebanon, accompanied by a delegation, at the patriarchal residence in Balamand.

Sheikh Qaddour offered his condolences to His Beatitude for the martyrs of St. Elias Church in Doueila, Damascus. His Beatitude expressed gratitude for the Sheikh’s fraternal solidarity, emphasizing the importance of unity and coexistence among all communities.

The meeting also included a discussion of current affairs and developments in the general situation.
